Job Description
Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, the Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for daily laboratory testing of raw materials, in process and finished goods.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Raw material, in process and finished goods testing
Environmental testing
Proper testing documentation
Perform chemical testing using analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, etc.
Troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and administer simple repairs as needed
Adhere to the regulatory systems as relates to laboratory operations (i.e. cGMP compliance, training)
Job Qualifications
BS in Chemistry or closely related field
Some experience in laboratory testing environment
GMP experience or knowledge is beneficial
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in windows based computer environment including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
