The Systems Support Technician is responsible for providing user support service for school administration and classrooms by performing first level PC maintenance and by troubleshooting network problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates all efforts at the school level to address and resolve technical and network issues.
- Interacts with Headquarters' Network Services, MIS, and/or third party service/warranty provider to restore service and correct core problems.
- Identifies, defines and categorizes network environment problems and makes recommendations to college Director on the repair or replacement of hardware.
- Provides technical/network support on the distribution of curriculum software images and on the upgrade and maintenance of application software.
- Stimulates or recreates user problems, as requested by Network Services, to help resolve operating difficulties.
- Performs application backups and prepares documentation to maintain application and curriculum software. -Manages user account and profiles.
- Frequent contact with students and school personnel to answer questions and resolving problems.
