Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has responsibility and authority for:
- First level response to employee questions regarding HR programs and processes
- Respond to employee and HRBP inquiries/requests, escalating to appropriate specialist when applicable
- Maintain logs of employee and HRBP inquiries/requests and provide monthly reports
- Identify opportunities for reducing occurrences of common inquiries/requests
- Meet with new employees for first day orientation
- Assemble new employee personnel folders and complete filing of HR paperwork for existing employees
- Process invoices for benefit plans
- Provide backup support for data entry into SAP HR
- Provide assistance to other HR projects as necessary
Minimum Skill/Job Requirements: Competency Requirements: (Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience.) In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual’s qualifications will include:
- 1-2+ years in an HR support role required. Knowledge of broad HR processes.
- Experience in a fast paced HR department supporting a growing organization strongly preferred.
- Excellent technical skills (MS Office suite) required. HRIS/Benefit Systems preferred, with SAP HR.
- Knowledge of benefits highly desired.
- Superb interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills
- Able to prioritize and smoothly manage multiple tasks
- Bachelors degree preferred, or comparable experience
