Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position has responsibility and authority for:

  • First level response to employee questions regarding HR programs and processes
    • Respond to employee and HRBP  inquiries/requests, escalating to appropriate specialist when applicable
    • Maintain logs of employee and HRBP inquiries/requests and provide monthly reports
    • Identify opportunities for reducing occurrences of common inquiries/requests
  • Meet with new employees for first day orientation                     
  • Assemble new employee personnel folders and complete filing of HR paperwork for existing employees
  • Process invoices for benefit plans
  • Provide backup support for data entry into SAP HR 
  • Provide assistance to other HR projects as necessary

 

Required Skills

Minimum Skill/Job Requirements: Competency Requirements: (Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience.) In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual’s qualifications will include:

  • 1-2+ years in an HR support role required.  Knowledge of broad HR processes.
  • Experience in a fast paced HR department supporting a growing organization strongly preferred.
  • Excellent technical skills (MS Office suite) required. HRIS/Benefit Systems preferred, with SAP HR.
  • Knowledge of benefits highly desired.
  • Superb interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and smoothly manage multiple tasks
  • Bachelors degree preferred, or comparable experience
