Job Description

The successful individual will possess a genuine desire to see his/her customers and OEM partners successfully deliver next generation web/Internet based Security with Blue Coat System’s innovative technology. A prospective Blue Coat Systems Sales Territory Manager will need to have an understanding of how to drive end user business and develop effective OEM sales via Blue Coat Systems. Territory planning, strategic selling skills, strong technical acumen, the ability to work through various channels, and presentation skills are required for this position. This position is a hybrid of territory management and end user account management.

Required Skills

A strong track record of over achieving sales revenue quota attainment

7+ years of sales experience OEM sales

5+ years of experience selling network technology or security solutions to OEM accounts

Strong technology background, working knowledge of Internet protocols, web based security and network infrastructure with the ability to articulate these technologies to customers

Strong solution selling skills, including extensive experience calling on key executives in Enterprise/Commercial accounts in the New York Metro area.

Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills as well as creation and delivery of executive briefings

Strong technical acumen in the areas of Networking and Internet security Self motivated, driven to develop and increase revenues, and highly independent individual

Understanding of the gateway security market desirable.

Leveragable relationships and contacts, as well as experience specifically with security technologies, such as anti-virus and web filtering preferred.
