Travel Store Manager

We are looking for a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong retail knowledge and experience to join our team! The Travel Store Manager is responsible for supporting AAA’s overall efforts in the sales of travel related retail merchandise to our customers. These products are made available to the public and to AAA members through our 26 branch office locations and via our website.
Manage the overall merchandising presentation, make product and purchasing decisions, and oversee vendor relationships, communications and marketing. Coordinate promotional events to highlight travel store products for purchase through our branch offices and other distribution channels. Represent the Travel Store and its products at client and industry events - including public speaking and product demonstrations.
*This position is based out of our Corporate office located in Bellevue, WA. Occasional travel to our Branch offices throughout Washington State and Northern Idaho will be necessary.
Qualifications Include:
- 5 years of retail and merchandising experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business
- Comfort with a hands on approach to work
- Extensive knowledge of inventory control processes
- Experience with automated inventory control and point-of-sale computer systems
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and problem solving
- Experience in developing internet sales avenues is helpful.
