Summary:

The QTP Analyst/Developer works with the testing team to assist with the preparation of Automation testing plans in accordance with company guidelines and standards.

Job Duties:

• Develop new or make changes to the existing automation scripts based on the requirements
• Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained throughout the Testing Life Cycle
• Maintain test data required for automation script
• Assist in defect management process, requirement traceability and defect remediation
• Provide feedback to the project team to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements
• Provide testing estimates based on the business and functional requirements
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Director

Required Skills:

• 2 + years experience in testing complex application in the healthcare/Insurance industry
• 5+ years of overall QA and software testing experience with an understanding of Functional, Integration, System and Regression testing
• 3+ years experience with HP QuickTest Professional (QTP), knowledge of descriptive programming.
• Experience with HP Quality Center
• 2+ years experience with Visual Basic Script (VBScript) for automation testing
• Developed business component in HP Quality Center using QTP
• Understanding of automated software testing and demonstrated experience with developing a test automation strategy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
