STG International is currently seeking a Full Time Wellness Fitness Coordinator for a Federal Occupational Health facility in Research Triangle Park, NC.
Responsibilities will include:
- Plans, develops, coordinates and implements all activities of the WFC/P (Wellness Fitness Center/Program)
- Oversees designated WFP(s), ensuring that all services under the agreements have been delivered and reported to the appropriate FOHS Project Officer
- Provides orientation and training in FOHS Wellness/Fitness Guidelines and Administrative Policies to specified new providers - delegates this function to appropriate providers and provides oversight
- Provides communication to new staff on new policies or changes in old policies or procedures
- Ensures that all WFC/P are staffed according to statement of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads
- Implements the pre-participation evaluation and annual re-stratification process in accordance with FOHS Implements or coordinates fitness programs (programs may include components such as fitness assessments, exercise plans, equipment and exercise orientations, regularly scheduled group exercise classes at various intensity levels, muscular/strength training, and cardiovascular training) in accordance with FOHS Wellness/Fitness Guidelines and Administrative Policies and with the FOHS customer agency requirements
- Implements or coordinate wellness activities which may include wellness seminars, wellness classes, incentive programs and contests, newsletters and bulletin boards
- Recommends the purchase of any needed exercise equipment to the FOHS Project Officer
- Provides daily routine maintenance of existing equipment and consults and coordinates with facility management when necessary regarding facility cleanliness and repair
- Coordinates and/or ensure that supplies, equipment, files and client records are maintained in properly secured storage
