Job Description
  • Provide Marine Gas Turbine controls technical assistance and assessment support.
  • Support routine assessment and testing visits onboard ships, including conducting grooms of engineering controls.
  • Assist in the repair, overhaul, planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of systems and components for use aboard various ships and vessels, primarily related to Marine Gas Turbine controls.
  • Provide all required technical and repair reports, test and certification reports, and daily updates to the associated work packages.
  • Provide logistics support for repair parts record validation and research to determine needed repair parts.
  • Train personnel in repairs to Marine Gas Turbine controls equipment and systems.

 

 

Required Skills
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of Marine Gas Turbine controls.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to use regular research tools for logistical and technical information including, but not limited to, FEDLOG, HAYSTACK, RMAIS, PRISMS, IETM’s, CDMD-OA and electronic drawings.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software, NEMAIS, and DSR programs.
  • Security Clearance Level:  SECRET
Required Experience
  • Minimum 20 years' experience.
