This position plays a vital role in the Sales and Marketing of UACC products and services to automobile dealerships within an assigned territory. As an Area Manager you will be responsible for building the relationship with dealerships and acting as the first line of contact for them as it relates to issues in underwriting and funding within your territory. As an Area Manager you will be expected to make dealer visits, cold calls and take inbound calls from dealerships to build relationships and capture the business. This will include analyzing the territory potential and coming up with the game plan to achieve the target monthly goal, making adjustments to the game plan as the month progresses to achieve the desired goal. The Area Manager is responsible for selling new business, increasing the penetration of the existing customer base, maintaining high quality customer satisfaction and retention as well as increasing market share in assigned territories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Relationship building with dealerships.
• Creating deals with dealerships over the phone and in person.
• Territory/production analysis.
• Act as a consultant/partner to F&I Managers in the sale of products to ensure maximum profitability for dealership through the utilization of UACC products.
• Produce Daily Activity Reports for management.
• Dealer Agreements.
• Dealer Relations.
• Use auto dealership knowledge to promote finance and insurance products through use of relationship selling techniques coupled with superior product knowledge and service capabilities.
• Compile presentation materials for sales meetings as needed.
• Develop new customers by identifying possibilities for product improvements and new products by following industry and market trends.
• Maintain rapport with customers, evaluate individual client needs and identify new opportunities.
• Trade show and convention attendance as well as other networking opportunities as it relates to the industry.

REQUIREMENTS:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Auto Finance required, preferably in the areas of sales/marketing and underwriting
• One year of underwriting or funding experience within Auto Finance
• Must be able to travel for business purposes more than 50% of the time, which requires a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
