Job description and duties

The Senior Solution Architect/Engagement Manager (SSA/EM) role requires a highly professional CPG expert that is capable of growing with our practice. The chosen candidate will be significantly involved in the consulting, management and delivery of the practice’s engagements, including. analyzing client-specific business and technology needs to lead the engagement and architecting solutions for the practice. In addition, the SSA/EM will play a key role in business development, by partnering with the sales organization to build new relationships and securing new work.

Required Skills

• Ability to lead all key functional program elements of a CPG initiative or implementation of CPG software (analysis, design, testing and change management)
• Experience with CPG Trade Promotion solutions and deployments.
• Ability to act in the role of Subject Matter Expert. This includes: developing and delivering presentations with high degree of industry expertise, leading and guiding Trade Promotion Initiatives, Retail Execution, Sales and Operations planning, Performance Analysis of key Trade Spend Metrics.
• Expertise with CPG software; Experience with Siebel ‘s CPG vertical is highly desired; experience with other CPG software (MEI, CAS or Vista) is also desirable.
• Ability to develop functional designs for client business requirements, such as SOX compliance or payment management, on both new systems and upgrades.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to present to business groups and C-level executives;

Desired Skills

Experience developing expanded service offerings in the areas of change management, industry benchmarking and ROI modeling. Demonstrated aptitude to drive accelerated growth with new and existing customers.

Experience researching and authoring trade publications regarding emerging industry trends related to Trade Promotion Optimization.

Experience leading client engagement and solution definition for TPM initiatives. Ability to restructure critical customer facing business processes and provide better insights through key trade spend metrics.

Work Environment

Perficient’s Oracle Applications Unit is a national business unit with clients from coast to coast, therefore candidates must be able to travel nationally, from Monday through Friday.
