Job Description

Dealix, a division of Cobalt, seeks qualified applicants for the position of Territory Account Manager. As the automotive Internet marketing services leader, Dealix offers employees the stability of a profitable business coupled with the professional rewards of working with a leading-edge technology team. We are currently seeking an excellent customer relationship professional to maintain, upgrade, and retain our current and growing customer base and work in support of Territory Sales Executives in Raleigh/Charlotte territory.

The Territory Account Manager is primarily responsible for locating and securing revenue growth opportunities among our current customers, assisting Dealix customers with changes to their accounts, and sustaining an extremely high retention rate. Most important, the TAM must continue the high level of customer satisfaction Dealix's customers have come to expect. The TAM reports to and gets daily activity direction from a Regional Manager and works closely with the Territory Sales Executive. Work from your home office or Cobalt headquarters in Seattle. Visit dealerships throughout your assigned territory. Overnight travel is required but will be limited to 10% -15%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain extremely low customer attrition rate
  • Increase net revenue of existing customer base
  • Manage existing book of business
  • Partner with and support multiple Territory Sales Executives
  • Prepare reports
  • Deal with escalated customer issues as assigned
  • Consult on Internet sales process and eCommerce best practices
  • Communicate with dealer customers via in-person visits, phone, and email
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with your immediate team
  • Manage a territory plan
Required Skills
  • 2-5 years of account management or sales experience in the automotive retail space. Internet department management background strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years in an outside sales or service capacity
  • Experience working effectively in a team sales environment
  • Consultative account management or sales experience
  • Proven track record in up-selling accounts
  • Experience in successful account problem solving
  • Solid customer service skills with a track record of retention
  • Exceptional communication skills both with customers and coworkers
  • Proven work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Experience working in an environment that requires self-direction
