Cobalt - the automotive industry's most comprehensive provider of integrated solutions for digital advertising – is seeking an Digital Marketing Account Executive in the Washington D.C./Virginia area.
Establish and maintain assigned territory accounts. Installation of new products and services, with accompanying training and verification that dealership understands products. Assist dealership in the development of a digital marketing strategy as a significant part of their advertising budget. Visit on a scheduled basis to review CMR and other data. Consult with senior dealership personnel on dealership e-Commerce processes. Provide continued training on Cobalt products and services. Serve as eBusiness expert for dealership staff and partner with them to achieve their digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the Cobalt relationship to ensure positive feedback from dealers.
- Establish and maintain revenue from assigned accounts.
- Installation of Cobalt products and programs, including training from the highest levels of the dealership on down to other users, for new customers.
- Communicate pro-actively with dealers through e-mail, phone and in-store visits.
- Work with ProCare Advocates and other Cobalt personnel who communicate with your accounts to ensure coordinated messaging.
- Attend regional dealer and field staff meetings. Deliver presentations as requested.
- Sell Cobalt products directly to designated customers within assigned territory.
- Meet with other field staff when appropriate.
- Drive acceptance of eBusiness principles and practices throughout the dealership.
- Coordinate account activities with other Cobalt departments.
- Act as advertising consultant to top management at dealerships
- Review, critique, and discuss dealership advertising including Cobalt reports.
- Provide training on Cobalt products and program specifics.
- Grow revenue by increasing dealer spend, adding new accounts, and reducing cancellations.
- Disciplined use of SalesForce.com
- Develop, coach and monitor implementation of process improvement plans for dealership digital strategy.
- Continuous application of process improvement techniques.
- Provide feedback and recommendations relative to product performance.
- Provide reports as directed by Manager.
- Accountable for accurate and timely record keeping and data delivery for all dealers and initiatives within assigned territory and programs.

- Must be a motivated self-starter and have the desire to succeed in a fast-paced rapidly growing industry.
- 2-3 years professional direct sales and/or service experience required.
- Automotive and/or digital marketing and/or advertising sales experience required.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently from a remote/home office.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- College degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
