Cobalt - the automotive industry's most comprehensive provider of integrated solutions for digital advertising – seeks an IT Operations Engineering Analyst
The IT Operations Engineering Analyst is responsible for the execution of scheduled and ad-hoc operational activities and the troubleshooting and resolution of customer reported issues. Duties will include working with all groups within the company and will require an in-depth understanding of technical processes and documenting our application operational requirements, understanding how data is processed to fulfill our e-commerce applications and writing troubleshooting guides. Duties will also include identifying areas of enhancement within the applications and providing targeted high-impact bug reports. Requires 4+ years experience in troubleshooting data issues in an on-line environment along with 5+ years in working in a multifaceted group settings representing your team and department in project initiatives.
Focus
- Execution of GUI and manual based processes
- Provide operational launch support
- Troubleshooting of dealer reported issues using Unix and SQL skills
- Assessment, identification and resolution of areas for operational improvement
- Execution of manual processes.
- Identification of root cause.
Key Responsibilities
o Execution of operational activities such as feeds and batches
o Troubleshooting and resolution of customer reported data issues
o Assessment, identification and resolution of areas for operational improvement
o Acting as the “final gateway” in protecting key environments before and during company QA and Production releases.
Secondary Functions
- Identify areas of improvement in our applications and processes and suggest courses of action.
- Ability to abstract and work through complex, undefined problems
- Provide programming support in efforts to automate operational processes and procedures
- Provide occasional on call support and availability

- Five years experience in an operational role including troubleshooting, driving resolutions, and managing IT deliverable for company launch initiatives.
- Proven history and experience working with Unix/Linux, Scripting, SQL, Perl, HTML, Perforce, CVS, SVN, Informatica, FTP, Adobe PhotoShop, MS Office
