Key Responsibilities
- In this position you will play a leadership role in the initial discovery process and application development meetings.
- You will be asked to participate in analysis of client needs, provide accurate estimates for technical deliverables and work with departmental leadership to refine development standards and processes.
This job requires strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and spoken), a compulsive respect for deadlines, creative imagination, serious technical chops, and an ability to roll with and contribute to a disciplined-but-entrepreneurial work environment.
- Expert-level hand-coding HTML and CSS including proficiency with coding for cross-browser compatibility and creation of table-less designs (7 years)
- Expert-level JavaScript knowledge including experience with both hand-coding object-oriented JavaScript and using JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Dojo Toolkit or script.aculo.us (5 years)
- Advanced proficiency with JSP and JSTL (3 years)
- Previous work experience with Apache Struts or similar MVC framework (3 years)
- Previous experience with automating tests for the web-tier (1 year)
- Intermediate-level Flash and ActionScript (2 years)
- Experience working in a structured development environment including working knowledge of version control systems (7 years)
